HealthMEDX Vision provides an advanced context-relevant and integrated medication database from First DataBank.  The First DataBank application provides widely used drug database products, powerful software for drug database integration and trusted drug reference products.  The First DataBank application combines medication descriptions and pricing information with an extensive array of clinical decision-support modules. It encompasses medications approved by the FDA, plus information on commonly-used over-the-counter and alternative therapy agents, such as herbals, nutraceuticals and dietary supplements.  Outside of the interaction database, First DataBank also provides reference materials for staff and patient education.

Agency specific policy and procedures are utilized to ensure the HealthMEDX Vision solution is designed to fit operations.  For those agencies looking to bring on standard industry assessments, forms, and general workflow, HealthMEDX Vision provides a content library with over 40 assessments and forms.

Developed with oversight and input from leaders in the home care industry, the preconfigured content provided in the application addresses the entire care continuum from admission through assessment, billing, and collections.  The assessments and forms provided also include standard workflow rules to step users through the system to ensure all necessary information is captured and documented.

Telephony brings the home care agency and its field representatives together. As the name implies, Telephony uses the telephone as a documentation device. The HealthMEDX Vision digital telephone POC system captures a home care visit's critical information and documents it into the patient's electronic chart.  Using touch-tone dialing buttons, clinicians enter basic visit information. The system includes a unique, interactive voice response system with data reported in real time; resulting in instantaneous updates in the field and at the office. Employing state-of-the-art technology, HealthMEDX will work with agencies to tailor the multi-lingual voice prompts to meet their needs. A telephone is the only field equipment needed!
