OZARK, Missouri, January 18, 2012 – HealthMEDX’ electronic health record (EHR) HealthMEDX Vision version 7.1.10 has passed Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®) long term post-acute care (LTPAC) inspection, and is a CCHIT Certified® 2011 LTPAC EHR with additional certification for both the Skilled Nursing Facility and Home Health.

HealthMEDX Passes SSAE 16 Type II Review

January 10, 2012 The HealthMEDX Data Center for cloud computing clients has passed stringent Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16 auditing standards providing increases assurance that patient and resident data managed by HealthMEDX is secure.

The HealthMEDX cloud computing model allows clients to focus on patient and resident care by freeing up critical resources from information technology management. Client’s databases are maintained and accessed easily through the secure and reliable HealthMEDX cloud. HealthMEDX recently completed the audit process to ensure the organization’s data center and hosting operations meet the SSAE 16 guidelines. SSAE 16 effectively replaces SAS 70 as the authoritative guidance for reporting on service organizations. These updated examination guidelines mirror new international reporting standards.

HEALTHMEDX’S VISION RECEIVES ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 CERTIFICATION

January 4, 2012 – HealthMEDX announced today that HealthMEDX Vision 7.1.10, is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as an EHR Module on January 3, 2012 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable Hospital certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. HealthMEDX Vision 7.1.10 was also certified as an EHR Module in accordance with the applicable Eligible Provider certification criteria. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Ozark, Missouri – December 14, 2011 – Spectrum Equity Investors and Trident Capital today announced they have made an investment in the business of HealthMEDX, Inc, the leading provider of long term and post-acute care (LTPAC) technology, via an acquisition of the HealthMEDX, Inc. business. They will own a majority interest in the new company, HealthMEDX, LLC.

In connection with the acquisition, Pamela Pure, former President of McKesson Technology Solutions, has joined HealthMEDX as its Chief Executive Officer. Vince Estrada, former SVP Business Development and CFO of Visicu, Inc. will join as EVP of Business Development and Chief Financial Officer. HealthMEDX Co-Founder Charlie Daniels will remain as President and Co-Founder Dan Cobb will remain as Chief Technology Officer. Co-Founder Jim Atteberry will serve as a strategic advisor.

OZARK, Missouri, November 7, 2011 – HealthMEDX’ electronic health record (EHR) HealthMEDX Vision version 7.1.10 has passed Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®) long term post-acute care (LTPAC) inspection, and is a pre-market conditional CCHIT Certified® 2011 LTPAC EHR with additional certification for both the Skilled Nursing Facility and Home Health.

CCHIT certification for LTPAC requires the EHR to demonstrate that it meets comprehensive functional, interoperability and security criteria developed by a workgroup broadly representative of the industry and designed to support primary clinical needs for LTPAC providers. With CCHIT certification for long-term and home care EHR in the works, HealthMEDX Vision 6.0 is positioned to be one of the first solutions to sit for CCHIT certification over the summer of 2010.

Outside of the standards outlined by CCHIT for EHR certification, HealthMEDX Vision 6.0 will also provide clients the ability to submit and manage the new MDS 3.0 assessment from CMS. Clients will be utilizing various tools built into HealthMEDX Vision 6.0 to ensure the transition to MDS 3.0 is smooth. The latest version of the software navigates users through the new assessment with color coding matching that of the new assessment as well as specific skip logic and question formatting to help move through the assessment quickly. MDS assessment and monitoring widgets are also available in the solution to help keep users informed of the status of all MDS 3.0 assessments.

The latest version of HealthMEDX Vision had key design elements placed around addressing the growing needs of mobile clinicians at the point of care. HealthMEDX Vision 6.0 provides a new portion of the solution called Mobile View designed specifically for these clinicians.

The solution is designed to address mobile clinicians’ needs at all points in time. Time spent on their assigned case load before, during, and after a home visit are all managed from the Mobile View solution. Clinicians can be trained on the solution within 2 hours which results in more time with patients. The solution is also positioned to be well within the reach of any organization’s budget. At just a little over one dollar per day, each mobile clinician can be provided the software and a netbook device to provide care. The Mobile View solution has also removed the need for mobile clinicians to worry about connection to the internet. When a connection is available, the solution synchronizes automatically. When disconnected, the user can still operate and provide care to their case load in the software.

HealthMEDX Vision 6.0 will be released on June 18^th. The product is currently also scheduled to go through the CCHIT certification process during the later part of this summer.
